Er. LIAO Binkui, Robin has more than 15 years of experience in planning, design, procurement and implementation of coastal/maritime structures and land reclamation works from feasibility studies, conceptual design, detailed design, tender documentation till overall project management. Since graduation from his study of Master Degree in Jan 2001, he had been working for MNC involving in many Design & Build tenders in Singapore and overseas. He had been actively involved in bidding projects ranging from marine/coastal works, underground expressway, MRT station, etc as well as providing technical supports to the ongoing projects undertaken by the company. In Jan 2005, Robin jointed the Coastal Engineering, Infrastructure and Land Survey Division of Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd as Senior Engineer. He has managed and supervised the Construction of Marina South Pier and the construction of Diversion of Submarine Services between Pasir Panjang and Pulau Bukom. He was one of the key members of the engineering design and supervision team for the proposed reclamation at Pasir Panjang Terminal Phases 3 & 4, where he was co-in charge of all marine construction works. In Feb 2012 Robin was assigned as the Design Coordinator  overall in charge the planning and engineering design of Tuas Terminal phase 1 (TTP1). Since then he had let the design team to successfully complete the engineering design and the tender documents for the construction tender of TTP1. Currently, Robin is the Project Manager for the construction of TTP1, which comprise of construction of 8.6km long caisson wharf structure, massive dredging/reclamation filling and extensive soil improvement works. Meanwhile, he is also the project leader for the new shipyard (Phase 2 development) at Tuas South.
